Jackie Adams hosts a well-known cooking show and wants to create a cookbook—one that doesn’t just describe how to make dishes, but tells heartfelt stories: chocolate donuts capable of saving the day, macaroni and cheese that symbolize love, and vegetable cutlets that bring families together.

Tom Hudson is a nasty type Jackie encounters at the airport. However, he also owns a prestigious hotel, where Jackie goes to find fresh inspiration. Tom has no desire to share recipes, and that threatens Jackie’s plans. But maybe Tom has a similar goal—and their dreams could intersect, even if they go beyond the realm of cooking.
