Professor Oleg Voskoboinikov from NRU HSE will be your guide through the fascinating world of the Middle Ages. He’ll tell you how people who lived many centuries ago differed from us—and how they were similar; where they found inspiration; how they loved; how they built a hierarchy of power; how they fought; and what caused conflicts—how and why some events became the preconditions for changes, while others didn’t change the course of history at all. You’ll visit a medieval temple and learn how to find pieces of the Middle Ages in modern museums. You’ll be able to look at history from a new angle and find answers to many curious questions.
