Dormancy

The creator of artificial intelligence was awakened early. Contrary to his expectations, the new world is utterly dull and joyless. He, along with a few insomniacs, lives on a platform in the middle of the sea and is forced to keep thousands of other people asleep. The hero begins to learn why they woke him up for this job—why him, and why everyone sleeps. And who are the “sea dragons,” carrying out destructive attacks on the platforms?
