Burned Bodies at Saoshuling Station

Ten years ago, a string of terrible murders took place in a western suburb, killing four people. Zhou Liping, a teenager, was held responsible for the crimes.

Only one person—the police academy student Lin Xiangmin, who had taken part in the investigation—believed Zhou was guilty of only one of the murders. In spite of this, Liping was sentenced to ten years in prison.

Now he has been released. But soon a fire breaks out in an abandoned metro station in the area of Mount Saoshuling, killing people again. All the evidence points to Zhou Liping. But is he really guilty this time too? And will someone believe him again before it’s too late?

There doesn’t seem to be an author’s cycle, but in this book characters also appear who were featured in "The Curse of the Yellow Emperor," released a year earlier.
