Summer in New York becomes unbearable because of heat, dust, and noise. Maryan dreams of spending this time outside the city with her husband and son. She finds an ad in the newspaper for renting a unique house: a secluded and peaceful place, ideal for a large family, with a pool, a private beach, and a pier—at a very affordable price for the “right” people. It seems like a great opportunity, even though the owners—brother and sister—behave strangely, and the rental conditions include caring for an elderly mother living on the top floor. All these details don’t matter, because Maryan has finally found her dream home and is ready to do everything to stay there.
