Marion Poshmann is a German writer and poet, born in 1969 in the city of Essen (Germany). She studied German studies and Slavic studies at the University of Bonn. Winner of many literary awards, including the Ernst Meister Prize for lyrics (2011). Recently, she received the Berlin Literary Prize and became a professor of theory of German-language poetry at the Free University of Berlin.
