Description
Solaris. A planet somewhere in distant space, almost entirely covered by an ocean—where, not so long ago, the first expeditions began to be sent. A small research base receives scientist-psychologist Chris Kelvin, and almost from the very start he encounters the strange events happening here. One of the base staff, Dr. Gибараян, has recently died; another has locked himself in the laboratory and not only refuses to come out or let anyone in—getting him to even talk is difficult. Soon, “a visitor” appears in Chris’s room—a girl he loved ten years ago, and who, in essence, he provoked into suicide. Probably, similar “visitors from the past” are “living” with other residents of the base too. Is it possible to figure out what’s really going on here?
