Solo for a Rapier

The novel "Solo for a Rapier" (2019) tells the adventures of Christian de Brandi, known as Smychok—though the nickname has nothing to do with music. His life depends on his skill with a rapier. He interacts with thieves and seeks justice in an inheritance matter. Christian has his own understanding of friendship and honor, ignoring class prejudices. When he couldn’t leave his friend in danger, Smychok was swept into a turbulent chain of events filled with threats and enemies—where his only support is his rapier and divine providence.

The author notes that the book is not a direct continuation of "Bretter for Gold"—but the events take place in the same world three years after the previous incidents. The main hero wasn’t named in the first book, but he played a minor role there. The novel will also feature some characters from the first part.
