Deadly Work, or The Insane Adventures of Marina, the Cat, and Death with a Scythe

Marina is an incredible scatterbrain and a real magnet for adventures. Even dying is not something she can do like normal people! Finding herself at the crossroads of two worlds, she meets Death herself, who has come for her soul. But Marina’s soul wasn’t ready for transportation to the realm of the dead. She finds her work with a grim reaper far more appealing. Without even understanding how, Death agrees to take this restless soul under her care. Besides Marina, Death gets a charismatic and completely unmanageable cat named Paganini on her team. Together they set out on a call of extreme, mind-blowing adventures, find new friends, save the world from the end of the world, help guardian angels calmly spend their vacations, and keep order in the bureau of fates.
