Description

Sixth-grader Elka Zolototseva loves drawing and inventing scary fairy tales. She enjoys turning the reality around her into a fairy-tale one. Her friend’s elderly neighbor turns out to be Baba Yaga, and the huge stove in the kitchen of an old mansion is a portal to the underworld, the realm of nightmares. The mysterious disappearance of a girl from Elka’s school becomes the basis for numerous urban legends. Naturally, Elka has her own story as well. And when she draws a frightening picture to go with it, the world around her really turns into a nightmare. Elka realizes that the only way to get rid of it is to uncover the mystery of the missing girl.
