Description
New sheriff Bree Taggert is called to a winter-closed campsite where, according to a report, a shooting has taken place. But on the scene there’s nothing to confirm a crime: no victim, no shooter, and not a drop of blood.
The only person Bree believes can tell the truth is a homeless teenage girl named Alissa. She insists that her friend was just killed by a gunshot.
To track down the criminal and find the missing girl, Bree turns to Matt Flynn, a former member of the K-9 unit. But the search leads not to rescue, but to a new horrifying discovery—beneath the ice of a lake they find the body of a missing college student.
