Vadim was sure that Tihomira fulfilled his wish by giving him poison to drink. The young man didn’t expect that the witch would turn him into her student, but, to his surprise, he quickly came to terms with his new fate. Why not? Before, he was despised and insulted; now they fear him and respect him. The pleasant feeling of power can make anyone’s head spin. But magic doesn’t like cowards. It keeps testing wizards and witches—are they truly worthy of that name? And so, only three years into his studies, Vadim will feel the full weight of his magical gift. In the village, his old acquaintance will return—Bazhen—but not alone: with a friend, a witch. The guardsman will want to hide her from the witch-hunters, so who else to ask for help if not Vadim and Tihomira? Will the newly-made wizard do the right thing and prove his strength to everyone? Read on in the continuation of the book “The Fairytale Spinner.”
