Thoughtful “Tales of the Cat-Murmur” . They are always driven by a desire to guide the mind and feelings of a young reader toward heroism and goodness. The drawback of the tales is the lack of half-tones and, sometimes, an excess of sentimentality, but the vividness and engaging style make you forget the shortcomings.
