Svyatoslav Sakharov, like his “literary godfather” Vitaly Bianchi, believed that a real writer—before writing about anything—must see everything with his own eyes. That’s why he traveled a lot and experienced a great deal firsthand. And then he started writing stories and fairy tales for children.
The collection includes fairy tales from all corners of the world—from India to Alaska—which Svyatoslav Sakharov heard during his travels, as well as a cycle of original “Tales about Lions and Sailboats.”
Illustrations by Alyona Baska kova are published for the first time.
