The story of one fox, which even as a cub the forester Vobinuska brought to his children. The fox took to her new home, proved capable, learned to read, write, and speak in human language, and later wanted to be called Aunt-Fox. Only, after learning all that, she did not want to live on as a yard animal—she wanted to live her own life, according to her own understanding.
