“A Tale of the Mercenary, the Maiden, and the Dragon” is a fantasy novel by Daniel Kahhelin, in the genres of action fantasy and heroic fantasy.
Many stories begin in a roadside tavern. Most often that’s where they end too. Especially if the hero is a tracker, looking for his destiny at the bottom of a mug. In the evenings he sits in the tavern, watches the road, and if not for a series of random events, he wouldn’t move from his spot.
However, the unusual contract doesn’t just force the tracker to set out on the road—it also makes him reconsider his attitude toward life, the concepts of honor and loyalty to the word given.
From the author:
“Literature is an integral part of my life. The mysterious world of letters has completely captured my imagination since early childhood. Words that form sentences open up endless new worlds in front of me, which I want to share with readers.”
Daniel Kahhelin graduated from a humanities lyceum at 15 and became a student of the Philology faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
