The Sinners' Bench

Ava Mason, a first-year student, is sure that the academic year will be interesting. At the very least, it won’t let her get bored—Colton Thompson, the center of the Great Lake university team. No one annoys Ava more than this arrogant hockey player. At their first meeting, the girl slaps him, and the offended Colton decides to get revenge no matter what.

But fate keeps interfering, and their paths cross again and again—sometimes in the most unbelievable ways—on the basis of mutual hatred, with jabs and jokes, a spark of attraction grows, and sorting out feelings becomes even harder. Besides, Colton and Ava are both too busy fighting their own demons: Ava tries to settle into university, while Colton—aiming for a professional sports career—struggles with family drama.

Both are striving to win, because no one wants to end up on the penalty bench. But maybe, for once, someone should give in?
