On a business trip to Nizhny Novgorod, director Maksim Ozerov and his partner Fedia Velichkovsky have to record a play for radio! The old drama theater welcomes Muscovites with riddles and secrets! And right during the performance, a murder occurs… The chief director of Verkhoventsev dies a strange death, and there was also an attempt on the leading actress. Maksim Ozerov begins his own investigation, with the young partner Fedy actively helping him.
