Description
Residents of a once prosperous Siberian town are shaken by the brutal murder of the mayor. The secretary finds the body right there in the office, behind the work desk. Suspicion falls on major officials who run the city. For the cover, a work by Turkish artist Ayşe Çiğdem Özdemir was used. From the author: the story was already written—back when in a small industrial Siberian town, Kiselevsk, a brutal murder of the former mayor took place. The killers were found quickly, but the media kept silent about the reasons for the brutal killing. Residents concluded that it was due to a reshuffle of the coal market.
