Sixteen-year-old Amara moves with her parents to a small town: her father, a film director known for his depression, hopes to recover after the failure of his latest movie. In the attic of an old house, Amara finds a book titled “The Heart of Winter,” in which a terrible fairy tale about ballet is told. The tale slips off the pages and turns into a real threat to Amara’s life and mental state.
