Jazz-z-z-z-z-z! Crazy jazz that will never die—“black music,” as the people who were unlucky enough to grow old too early called it. But for a moment, “black” are Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and Sidney Bechet… Yes, there was jazz in Sweden too, and the brightest star of the swing era was Per Vum Rammel. He sings, of course, for an amateur—but the mood he lifts for sure.
