Giuseppe Corte arrived in a city with a famous specialized clinic. Although his illness was mild, he hoped that the competence of the doctors and the specialized equipment would very soon make him forget his ailment.
But once he ended up in a ward on the seventh floor, he learned from a nurse about a strange feature of the clinic: patients are distributed by floors depending on how severe their condition is—seventh for the very mild cases, and the first for those who are doomed. Ten days pass— and a ridiculous reason appears for moving Giuseppe to the floor below… because he feels almost healthy.
