What if “Squid Game” were made by Guillermo del Toro with sets inspired by Dante Alighieri’s “Divine Comedy” and vibes of “Pan’s Labyrinth”?
Spurred on by the persuasion of a mysterious fellow passenger, three friends—Anton, Irina, and Lipa—arrive at the entertainment center “Wheel of Fortune.” The place looks like an old castle where a quest takes place in medieval sets. When the entrance door to the first location locks forever and the organizers stop responding, the friends are left with only one way out: follow clues on strange maps and complete trials, joining forces with other stuck players.
But each next stage becomes more dangerous: the images on the maps change in a mystical way, and in the quest rooms lurk dreadful creatures. It seems that what’s at stake isn’t victory in the game, but the lives of the players. What the hell is going on in this cursed castle?
