The Secret Bunker

April 1945. Nazi fanatics desperately defend doomed Berlin. Red Army units fight their way to the government district, where the Reich’s leaders are hiding in a secret bunker. The SMERSH operations group of Major Andrey Rakitin takes a German defector into custody. The man reports that, among others, a high-ranking officer of German intelligence is also in the bunker—someone our operatives have been hunting for a long time. Rakitin decides to use the recruited defector to lure the important German out of hiding. The major realizes his plan is too bold. But there won’t be another such chance…
