Description
Boston, the late nineteenth century. Adam is a talented, but unsuccessful artist whose strange and frightening paintings can’t win recognition—they only meet looks full of anxiety and disgust. Having nowhere to belong in society, the melancholic painter becomes a voluntary recluse in his own studio. Still, he doesn’t give up trying to create a canvas that will convey to people his distorted vision of beauty.
