The Cuckoo Clock
Imagine this: you sit with your face turned to the TV, and your wife every evening keeps nagging and nagging you: “Boring life—we don’t have a theater, a cinema, or concerts; we don’t even go visiting, and no one comes to us either…” Where can this end? Of course, it ends the way it should: one night a midnight guest appears in the house—and you won’t have time to get bored right away. It becomes so fun that divorce isn’t far off… In the end, the funny everyday story turns out to be, in truth, a deep philosophical parable—just like all the plays created by Leonid Filatov.
Listen to the timeless sparkling comedy "The Cuckoo Clock" performed by a wonderful acting troupe!
Cinderella—Before and After
A fairy tale by Leonid Filatov for adults.
A cruel fairy tale in 2 parts on the themes of Charles Perrault.
About Fedot the Archer
Of course, no one reads the famous fairy tale about Fedot—the Archer better than the author himself. Remember how we couldn’t stop laughing through tears at him while listening to his adventures at the court of a tsar who embodied all the traits typical of Russian rulers in any century. Another edition of the brilliant fairy tale performed by the author is out with stereo sound and original music. But Leonid Filatov’s charm has remained just the same—you simply can’t resist him!
Once Again about the Naked King
Continuing the publication of a series of fairy tales for adults by actor and writer L. A. Filatov "The Theater of Leonid Filatov," we present to the wide public the audio book "Once Again about the Naked King" performed by Valentin Gaft and others.
A Disturber of the Peace
The latest work by Vsevolod Abdulov—a fairy tale for adults "The Disturber of the Peace, or a Story about Khoja Nasreddin" from the collection of tales by actor and writer Leonid Filatov—has gone on sale. Everyone remembers from childhood Leonid Solovyov’s work "The Story about Khoja Nasreddin," which inspired L. Filatov to create "The Disturber of the Peace." If you remember that, you can imagine what an unstoppable fountain of jokes and quips the performers of Filatov’s adventurous comedy gave us. The production involved Вс. Abdulov, A. Kolgan, D. Naz arov, T. Vesel’kina, A. Litovkin, A. Borzunov, A. Vdovin, V. D’yachkov, O. Semisinov, P. Poym alov, B. Tokarev-Khrunov, A. Kolpikova.
Tales of the Plague City
With extraordinary ease, the recording of Leonid Filatov’s next fairy tale "Tales of the Plague City" from the series "THEATER OF LEONID FILATOV" was made at the studio of ID "Soyuz." "The reason" was the wonderful and energetic actors: Stas Sadalsky, Andrey Martynov, Nina Ruslanova, and others. Three short theatrical fantasies by Filatov.
Love for Three Oranges
The incomparable performance by actor Sergey Bezrukov creates a full illusion of a multi-voiced cast. You’ll have to catch the familiar voices. Which ones? Listen and you’ll know. It won’t be boring.
After listening to the audio version of his play "Love for Three Oranges" recorded by Sergey Bezrukov, Leonid Filatov not only fully approved this work, but also “blessed” the actor to prepare, as well, a mono-performance based on his famous "The Tale about Fedot-the- Archer, the Daring Young Fellow."
"There is a concept— 'theater of one actor.'" I would call Sergey Bezrukov differently — "a man-theater," Leonid Filatov said.
Dangerous, Dangerous, Very Dangerous
In his play "Dangerous, Dangerous, Very Dangerous," Leonid Filatov makes the main character—the godless villain de Valmont (once created by the great Chaderlo de Laclos)—live to a deep old age. It turns out that Filatov changed the title of the novel "Dangerous Liaisons" to "Dangerous, Dangerous, Very Dangerous" for a reason, focusing the audience’s attention on the figure of Valmont. The author depicts in detail the collapse of the personality of the gallant villain—that is, the payment for everything he has done. The play performed by Nikolay Fomenko is listened to «in one breath»!
