Boris Kazachenko’s book “Russian Kinship: Past and Present” tells about Russian kinship.
Its first part is a compendium of basic data on the kinship and family relations of the people of Russia. Its second part includes useful information about kinship. The third component of the book is intended to help a Russian-speaking person navigate the terminology of Russian kinship. The work examines all types of fictive and natural kinship, as well as the terms of kinship and family ties deriving from them.
