“Russian is boring and meaningless.” That’s the attitude I ran into when three years ago we started teaching adults. Not surprising that the red pen and dictation are all that most of us remember even from school days.
And yet we write and write—at work, for business, and without any reason.
And the quality of speech has long become a ticket into the world of essential requirements.
More and more issues are solved with written words, not spoken ones. Communication turns into text—and text demands hygiene.
The book is intentionally designed as a tool—not for school, but for life.
Working with business helps us understand weak spots and propose modern solutions. We selected typical speech mistakes of adults—both in writing and speaking—explained them in simple language, and packaged everything in a clear form.
The book was helped create by talented girls: Ksenia Turkova, candidate of philological sciences, came up with rhymes and explained the rules. Lyalya Bulanova, an artist, drew original illustrations for them.
To be understood correctly, keep your speech clean and remember: mistakes affect trust. Enjoy Russian!”
