Georgy Vernadsky, the greatest historian of Russian emigration, one of the founders of Eurasianism, in 1927 wrote for students at American universities a textbook on Russian history. He worked on it, adding new materials up to 1969. The book went through numerous re-editions in foreign languages. In its latest edition, the period from Ancient Rus to the end of the 1960s is covered. In Russian, it is being published for the first time.
