It has existed since time immemorial, perhaps even longer. The whole Universe knows about it, but only a few have seen it. It rarely turns on, but every time its work is connected to the fate of the human soul—“sparks.” No one knows why it is called the Hand-Driven Mechanism. But it is here, in the middle of unsuspecting Moscow, that the course of the eternal struggle between the two Kingdoms for “sparks” is determined.

Only from here it’s possible to get in touch with the one who gives rise to human souls. And it is here that the Kingdoms send their commandants, who take turns running the Hand-Driven Mechanism. But even after gaining Power and Eternity, a person is incapable of renouncing their past—so on Earth and in the Universe passions boil, noble and base deeds are done—and the Hand-Driven Mechanism watches over it all.
