Description

Four Britons in their thirties set out on a hiking trip through the forests of Sweden. However, not all of them were prepared for the physical strain, and after covering part of the route, the friends decide to shorten it by cutting straight through an old forest massif. But instead of taking a shortcut and arriving sooner, they find themselves in the power of a dark forest inhabited by something ancient and terrifying. On a tree they find the body of a recently dismembered animal; in a creepy half-ruined hut, a stuffed goat with human hands sits in the attic; and for firewood they are forced to use crosses twisted from thin branches. Something interferes with their dreams, and tension within the small group keeps growing.
