Aristotle was an ancient Greek scholar and philosopher, the founder of formal logic. He created the first comprehensive philosophical system covering all spheres of existence. His teaching is considered the summarizing and concluding phase of Greek philosophy.
Aristotle’s “Rhetoric” is the deepest and most systematized study of the problems of oratory art, a major cultural and scientific event. The treatise is divided into three parts: the first is devoted to the subject of rhetoric and the types of oratorical speeches. In the second part, it discusses the personal qualities of the orator and the “reasons that arouse trust in the speaker.” The third part concerns the technical side of rhetoric.
