1944. Western Ukraine. Smerш operative captain Timofei Romantsev is investigating the death of his deputy. According to intelligence, a group of saboteurs is operating in the rear of our troops, tasked with destroying the command staff and blowing up railway tracks. Romantsev captures a deserter, who provides the name of the resident running the spy network. But one name isn’t enough.
