River of Bone Banks

During a river flood, new channels sometimes form. One day, the river appears near a certain village—and teems with fish. These fish are caught in a special way known to the woman whom everyone calls a witch. Some go to the witch for help; others curse her, believing that both the river and the fish are from the нечисть. A city парень ends up in this village—just for laughs, he transfers from his yacht to a barge floating by. The barge runs aground in the reeds, where cries for help can be heard. Some girl asks the парень to pull a grandmother out of a swamp. The rescued grandmother not only looks strange, but also speaks in riddles. From that moment on, an incredible chain of events begins in the main character’s life.
