The Pyramid Destroyer

It all started, no more and no less, with Picasso! Through her own carelessness, Eve breaks the glass on a portrait by Picasso, and decides to quietly take the painting out of the house of a wealthy old man, where she ended up almost by accident. But when she returns from the frame shop, it turns out that thieves have been in the house and killed the owner. The police are working the crime scene, so getting the portrait back turns out to be very difficult. Unknown, unfriendly strangers try to kidnap Eve, but help comes from “a young man with a fiery gaze.” He introduces himself as Savva Dolgorukov and offers Eve—and her mother as well as her yoga trainer—to wait out the dangerous times at his huge house. Especially since the attempts at kidnapping, attempted murder, and murder are only increasing…
