Meditations on the Divine Liturgy

The purpose of this book is to show in what completeness and in what inner, profound connection our Liturgy is accomplished, for young people and for those who are still just beginning, who are not yet well acquainted with its meaning. From the many explanations given by the Fathers and Teachers, only those are selected here which are accessible to all because of their simplicity and clarity—explanations that primarily serve to understand the necessary and proper outcome of one action from another. The intention of the publisher of this book is that the order of everything should become established in the reader’s mind. He is confident that, for anyone who follows the Liturgy with attention and, while repeating every word, will find that its deep inner meaning will unfold of its own accord.
