Description
Gennady Viktorovich Loginov was born on July 29, 1988 in the city of Sukhumi, the capital of the Republic of Abkhazia. A vivid representative of modern avant-garde, the writer neo-surrealist Gennady Loginov is distinguished by his distinctive, incomparable style. He calls his unusual way of writing “inversionism” (from Latin inversio “turning over; rearrangement”)—the shifting of meanings, forms, images, and the perspective of perception. From the pen of a prolific author came quite a lot of poems, stories, novellas, and novels (including non-linear prose and opera librettos) that stand out sharply by their unique style of narration and somewhat unusual but rich choice of subject matter. In addition to realistic, autobiographical, historical, fantastical, and avant-garde works, in one way or another written in the traditional, sequential narrative mode, the author also actively experiments with ways of organizing a text, releasing interactive novels.

This collection features a variety of stories—from parables and avant-garde to absurdity and classic science fiction.
