The trilogy “Russia. Our Days” is an adventure novel based on real events. The story takes place in modern Russia at the end of the last century and the beginning of this one. Landmark historical events and notorious figures of the past decades, through the eyes of the main character—Grisha Topolev—follow his life path from an ordinary bank dealer to vice-president.

Then, with the help of FSB generals, he becomes a major businessman and a multimillionaire. His business is connected with Aeroflot and Sheremetyevo Airport. On assignment from the deputy director of the FSB, he sets things in order in the country’s main harbor—freeing it from criminal elements, corrupt officials, and organized crime. At the same time, with the support of the son of the country’s prosecutor general, he organizes raider takeovers of buildings and companies.

Even his patrons involve him in a scheme to supply weapons to Syria. But one day he decides to go against the system and finds himself in disgrace.
