The Fifth Sleepless

Rosa’s relationships with her relatives have always left much to be desired: her mother constantly lectured, her aunt’s condescending “care” irritated her, and her grandfather paid her no attention at all. She would never have stayed living with them under one roof—but winter weather made the roads impassable, and the girl ended up locked inside the country estate with her aunt’s family. After New Year’s Eve, Rosa realized that something strange and terrifying was going on in the house. Its inhabitants completely stopped sleeping, found that in the village, besides them, no one remained—and the full moon had stretched on inexplicably.
