Nastya lives in a small town and dreams of a job she can do remotely for good pay. She has a former husband with whom she has a normal relationship, and a friend who believes in her. But one winter day, Nastya disappears for three and a half weeks, and when she returns, she refuses to tell what happened to her. She would like to forget it, but she can’t. To truly get rid of this story, she will have to voluntarily go back to where it happened. “The Stain” is a story about addiction, submission, rebellion, and the feeling of guilt that shapes human actions.
