As an inheritance, Framboise received an album of cooking recipes—not much, if you consider that her brother Cassis got a farm and her older sister Ren-Claude received a wine cellar with all its contents. But the trick is that in the margins of the album, next to recipes for various dishes and herbal remedies, their mother wrote her thoughts and confessions about certain events from her life—in other words, she kept a peculiar diary. And in that diary, Framboise tries to find answers to the dark mysteries of the past.
