Description
Two friends found themselves trapped in a plague city, while their families were stuck in a village. The population and part of the army couldn’t understand or accept the harsh—even dragon-like—quarantine measures, which led to riots and an attempted coup. Chaos reigned and control was lost. Desertion and looting. Blown-up gas stations and bridges—quarantine had to be total! No fuel means nobody goes anywhere. No bridges means nobody travels far. On the roads there were checkpoints, drones, and military personnel. Isolation of everyone and everything, so the infection wouldn’t spread across the country.

Too late. The two friends decided to break through to their families. Because even in the village not everything was going well. But someone there, atop the world’s power, decided it was time to finish off the tottering competitors. “If something is falling, push it,” and rockets shot into the sky. Total madness completed itself, erasing the dying world in the flames of nuclear explosions.

The book has humor and self-irony too. And unimaginable cruelty. The heroes aren’t superheroes, but ordinary tough men—solid characters—who are going to their families.
