The Missing Voice

A mother of nineteen-year-old Olga went to the police. Six months ago, the girl left for Moscow for a contest, “The Voice of the Year,” and disappeared. She sometimes sent messages and called, but her mother felt that something terrible had happened to her daughter. Suspicion grew when Olga asked to have a large sum of money sent to her… Detective Gurov finds that there was no casting at all. Olga is either being forcibly held and extorted for money, or she’s already dead—and the scammers are using her name. From social media, Gurov learns that Olga isn’t the only victim of this kind of deception. One of the kidnapped girls managed to take a photo containing part of the criminals’ vehicle license/number.
