Passing Through the Shadow

The novel “Passing of a Shadow” tells the story of the heroine’s strange friendship—a music school student—with a quartet of blind musicians. The girl becomes for them something like a guide in a world where the boundaries of what we know about ourselves blur, and the mysteries of the human heart remain mysteries forever. Alongside the main storyline develops another one—the family story, leaning toward the genre of a fictional autobiography—at the center of which is the image of the father, a talented scientist who lived an incredible life; his fate, in many ways, repeated the fate of the great scientist N. Timofeev-Resovsky.
