Description

Year 3565. Society is divided into the native inhabitants and the awakened—people who, after death, are subjected to deep-freezing and then resurrected after many years. The awakened have no rights, and responsibility for their actions lies with their guardians. Social inequality has bred mutual hatred between the native inhabitants and the awakened residents of Earth. Neutrality is maintained by the government and the daniils, who stand guard over order in this society.

Kaylin wakes up in a new world one and a half thousand years after her death. Her guardian is assigned as Giyon Samari—one of the daniils from the department of particularly serious crimes. Giyon doesn’t hide his hatred for the awakened and is forced to interpret the appointment as a punishment. He is tasked with a mission: he must find out who his ward was in her past life and what secrets she keeps. When her life comes onto the line, Giyon realizes that Kaylin has been “written off,” and that besides him, no one will be able to help her.

The awakened and the guardian will have to find common ground. But no one knows what will come of it…
