The Native Problem

In the distant future, an ordinary person—by our standards—causes surprise. Such is Edward Danton, an outcast in his world. And he flies to the farthest edge of the explored Universe, where he founds a colony made of one person. Imagine Edward’s joy when, to his planet, a starship arrives that left Earth 120 years ago. The descendants of Earth can’t believe that they have met not a multitude of aggressive savage tribesmen—but one Danton, who, by the way, has taken a liking to the girl from the ship. However, the only possible way for their marriage to happen is to declare war on the visitors.
