If you google the market leaders and the best experts in various niches, you’ll see—each of them has written a book. The question is: is a book an artifact or a tool?
10 years ago, I created the market for book producers in Russia, and I know for sure: a book is a scalability tool for a personal brand for an entrepreneur and an expert. Writing a book helps you reassemble your personal meanings, systematize knowledge and experience, and tell the world what you do.
Through the book, people can get to know you in absentia: hear your story, learn your principles, get a feel for the work, and develop trust. A book is an immortal, non-drinking, non-requesting-a-vacation consultant who penetrates the offices, kitchens, and even bedrooms of your audience. Readers become interested in you because people buy from people, and behind every business there’s a human story. But for the story to work for you, you need to tell it compellingly.
Read this book to learn how my story began.
