Ghosts of the Looking Glass World

Cousins—Jenya, sensible, and Rita, dreamy—live in central Saint Petersburg in a communal apartment in a house built in the late nineteenth century. Jenya can’t stand it and dreams of moving away. But something unexpected happens: her sister changes before her very eyes and begins to behave suspiciously. Where do these hallucinations and voices come from? And what’s wrong with the old mirrored wardrobe in their room?
