Description
“The Ghost of the Coming” is an engaging, dynamic novel in which, against the backdrop of spy intrigue, the fates of people and states that decided to resist the threat of communist terror are decided.

Arthur Koestler (1905–1983) was a journalist and psychologist, writer and public figure, world-famous for his anti-utopian novel “Darkness at Noon” (1940), which marked his break with the Communist Party and an ideological rebirth. Born in Hungary, Koestler lived in Germany, Austria, France, briefly in the USSR (Turkmenistan), in Palestine, Spain, and the United States—and, until his tragic death, in England. His meeting in Paris with Sartre (1946) greatly influenced his work, although they never became close friends.
