The Principle of Inevitability

My trip was supposed to be an innocent adventure before starting a family life with the person my father approved.

But the women in the Ostrovsky family—without meaning to—inevitably become a magnet for trouble.

So when I helped a stranger, I couldn’t imagine that I’d end up in a world my father tried to protect me from.

And now I’m racing down a forest road, in the company of a wounded man, not realizing that danger, secrets that aren’t mine, a difficult choice, and… love are waiting ahead of me.
